Zero Hour: Arche Blanks Galanes Tuesday, July 22nd , 1913 Jesús Arche handcuffed the Culiacan Galanes at Estadio de Saltillo, coming away with a 8-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Coahuila Carboneros left-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Arche had little trouble with the Galanes and led the Carboneros to victory, 4-0. He recorded 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in an impressive performance. On the season, Arche has compiled a 18-3 mark with a 1.11 ERA in 19 starts. In pitching 210 innings he has 182 strikeouts and 55 walks while limiting the opposition to a .182 batting average.
