Brough Belts 5 Hits Tuesday, August 12th , 1913 Who needs batting practice? Apparently not Nayarit Mariachis second baseman Dermot Brough, who missed the team's pre-game session but peppered the visiting Tijuana Matadores for 5 hits come game time. The Mariachis went on to take the 6-5 win. "I was late to the park and I wasn't sure coach was even going to keep me in the lineup," he told the press after the game. "Maybe I should skip BP more often." Dermot Brough hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th, doubled in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 12th.
