Ciudad Mexico Manager Sandoval Thrown Out at Home Thursday, September 25th , 1913 The Ciudad Mexico Volcanes finally pulled the trigger today, firing manager Tibulo Sandoval. Sandoval was rumored to be on the chopping block for some time, and the team ownership had apparently had enough of the club's lack of success. "We had a good relationship, but we just didn't make enough progress under his leadership," general manager Javier Rosario said. "We thought we gave him everything he needed for success, but it just didn't happen." No replacement has been named. |
