Swansea Hurler Wins BFE&W #1 Player Award Monday, August 18th , 1913 Rodulfo Camarena became the latest recipient of the Baseball Federation of England & Wales Player of the Week Award for his exceptional performance this past week. To win the best player honor the 23-year-old Swansea hurler tossed a total of 19.1 innings, collecting 3 wins, 9 strikeouts and a 0.93 earned run average. He suffered no losses. This season, Camarena has 21 wins and 15 losses and a 2.83 ERA. |
