Glasgow Beats Perth as Martínez Throws 3-0 Shutout Thursday, August 21st , 1913 The Perth Caber Tossers met their match today in Glasgow hurler Fulco Martínez. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 3-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Perth skipper Plutarco Valido said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 3-0 victory, Martínez whiffed 10 and gave up 2 walks.
