Pedraza Stymies Claymores Sunday, August 24th , 1913 The Glasgow Shipwrights did little to support starter Ernesto Pedraza against the Edinburgh Claymores, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Claymores, striking out 7 and surrendering 5 hits. The performance from Pedraza allowed Glasgow to escape with the 3-0 win, despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said, 'Ernesto, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Pedraza told BNN reporters following the win.
