Birmingham Eliminated from Playoff Contention Tuesday, August 26th , 1913 Members of the Birmingham Tradesmen sat in stunned silence in their clubhouse, adjusting to the knowledge that they had lost their chance for a playoff berth this year. "We really thought we had the team to get into the playoffs," said closer Acasto Lara. The Tradesmen are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 13 seasons in the C4F. |
