Ontario Baseball Association Ontario South Winner is Markham Wheelwrights Monday, September 15th , 1913 Members of the Markham Wheelwrights proudly donned their Ontario Baseball Association Ontario South championship apparel tonight, after winning the division for the 1st time in franchise history. "We don't take an accomplishment like this for granted. There are some good teams in our division, so it means a lot to come out on top," said reliever Finney Kelly. "We didn't know what sort of year it would take, but at 71-61, we're happy with the division title." The Wheelwrights will be trying to bring the 1st Royal Canadian Baseball League championship to Markham. |
