Hernández Nabs PL Weekly Award Monday, July 14th , 1913 It was an exceptional week for Iapeto Hernández of the Winnipeg Strikers. First he beat the devil out of the ball, hitting .412 and as you would expect, he was voted the Player of the Week in the Plains League. Last week Hernández went 7-for-17, notched 3 home runs and 4 RBIs and scored 7 runs. All in all, a very good week for him. Hernández is currently batting .412 with 3 home runs and 4 RBIs. |
