Steinbach Twirler Wins PL Best Player Trophy Monday, September 15th , 1913 Édgar González is enjoying the spotlight after being named the Plains League Player of the Week for last week's lights-out performances on the mound. In 18 innings González picked up 2 wins and 7 strikeouts as he posted a 1.00 ERA for the Steinbach Mennonites. So far this season, González has logged a 3-11 record with a 4.92 ERA. He has started 20 games, hurled 113.1 innings and registered 42 strikeouts and 38 walks. |
