Hit #1000 for Pecan Kings Escalera Sunday, August 3rd , 1913 Ronaldo Escalera of the Tyler Pecan Kings earned his membership in the exclusive 1000-hit club this afternoon at Pecan Kings Stadium. The 31-year-old left fielder got his milestone hit in the Pecan Kings 7-3 triumph over the Beaumont Alpinists. Escalera went 1-for-3 for the game.
