Albuquerque Captures Wild Card Sunday, August 17th , 1913 Cheers, laughter, and even a few tears filled the Albuquerque Dukes clubhouse as the team celebrated a Western Association wild card berth. "We didn't win the division like we wanted to, but I'm still smiling," said starting pitcher Marc Stabb. "In the end, we've still got a chance to win the Championship of the Frontier and that's the important thing." The club has a 75-56 record and will be seeking the 1st League of the Free Frontier championship in team history. |
