Alpinists Win Interdivisional Series Monday, August 25th , 1913 The Beaumont Alpinists and Nacogdoches Roaches hooked up in a classic Interdivisional Series that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Beaumont heading off to the Pennant Championship Series, after a 6-1 win at Roaches Park tonight earned the 3-2 series win. Outside Roaches Park, whether they were supporters of Beaumont or Nacogdoches, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Rodolfo RamÃrez played the hero for the Alpinists in the series, as his MVP performance included a .421 batting average, with a .421 on-base percentage. He also had 0 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Beaumont Alpinists don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the El Paso Finos - Waco Mammoths series.
