Waco Takes Interdivisional Series Monday, August 25th , 1913 The Waco Mammoths and El Paso Finos held nothing back in an entertaining Interdivisional Series that went the distance. In the end, it will be Waco advancing to the Pennant Championship Series, after a 4-3 triumph in the final game at Mammoths Field, to wrap up the series 3-2. The Mammoths players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Finos. Timoteo Hernández was named series MVP for Waco. For the series, Hernández hit .368 with a .400 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Waco Mammoths will play against the Beaumont Alpinists in the next round. Beaumont won their series against the Nacogdoches Roaches 3 games to 2. The Pennant Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Interdivisional Series finishes.
