No Late-Season Magic Coming: Cranston Out of Playoffs Friday, August 15th , 1913 There will be no playoffs for the Cranston Madonnas this year. The Madonnas have succumbed to mathematics, simply running out of games to get themselves into contention. Before this season, the Madonnas last missed the playoffs in 1911. In the 11 years they have been a Baseball League of New England franchise, they have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
