Treviño Sends Templeton Bats to Deep Freeze Saturday, August 23rd , 1913 The Newport Pilot Whales posted a 2-0 shutout over the Templeton Red Onions behind a strong performance by Santiago Treviño. The Pilot Whales pitcher held the Red Onions to 5 hits while walking 2 and fanning 4 in the route-going win. "It feels good to be wearing a Newport Pilot Whales uniform today," the right-hander said, following the game. Up to now Treviño has recorded a record of 11-13.
