This past season was very special for Salvador Luna of the Concord Stagecoaches. He picked up 21 wins against only 11 losses and was chosen the winner of the 1913 Northern New England Association Tea Thrower.

The 24-year-old Stagecoaches ace fashioned a fine 2.34 ERA in 33 starts. He threw 276.1 innings, gave up 253 hits, 72 walks and held opponents to a .248 average. Luna fanned 149 batters this season.

He received 15 first place votes out of a possible 24. Luis Hernández of the Brattleboro Melodeons finished second in voting with 9 first place votes, while Gabriel García of the Brattleboro Melodeons finished third.
