Smith Wins LMB Player of the Week Trophy Monday, September 1st , 1913 When it came to hitting the baseball, Justin Smith was in a class by himself in the Liga Mariana Bracetti this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding second baseman for Anasco tagged opposing pitchers for a .435 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 homers, 3 runs scored and 9 RBIs. Thus far this year, Smith has hit .319 with 3 home runs and 25 RBIs. |
