Sandoval Shuts Out Aguas Buenas Thursday, September 4th , 1913 Adjuntas Beatos hurler Gustavo Sandoval was at his best as he beat the Aguas Buenas Testarudos, 2-0. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Aguas Buenas manager Carl Purchase. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Sandoval, who is tied for 4th in the LJP with a 0.97 WHIP, fired a 3-hitter and totaled 10 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout performance.
