Vega Alta Out of Playoff Race Saturday, September 13th , 1913 Opinions were split on the Vega Alta Lirios this season, with some figuring they were true Campeonato Veraniego de Principiantes contenders and others thinking they would fade away. The latter group has been proven correct, as the club is now mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1908. In total, the Lirios have missed the playoffs 9 times in their 10-year history. |
