Allen Muzzles Vieques Offense Monday, September 15th , 1913 Juncos Chiringas pitcher Wade Allen blanked the Vieques Zumbadorcitos, 1-0, at Parquecito de Juncos, tossing a 5-hitter while issuing 2 walks and collecting 4 strikeouts. After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club. "I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Allen said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."
