Naranjito Won't Make Playoffs Tuesday, September 16th , 1913 They put up a valiant effort, but the Naranjito Predilectos didn't have what it takes to make the Liga Veraniega de Principiantes playoffs in 1913. The club was officially eliminated from postseason qualification today. "Sucks," said Predilectos right fielder Jimeno Jaimes. The Predilectos have missed the playoffs 8 times in their 10 years as a Liga Veraniega de Principiantes franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1909. |
