The Math Says - Escaleras Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 17th , 1913 It's now time for the Gurabo Escaleras to start turning their attention to what can be done to help improve the club for next season. The team was formally eliminated from playoff contention today for the 1913 season. "We knew a title was a long shot at this point, but mentally there's a big difference between a tiny chance and no chance at all," said Escaleras first baseman Damien Halley. In their 10 seasons in Liga Veraniega de Principiantes, the Escaleras have still yet to qualify for the playoffs. |
