Springer Hurls Morovis to Shutout Win Wednesday, September 17th , 1913 Timoteo Springer pitched a strong game at Parquecito de Barranquitas, blanking the Barranquitas Insignes, 3-0. Springer allowed no runs on 7 hits, totaled 7 strikeouts and gave up 2 walks. Morovis manager Camulógeno Castrejón said he could tell immediately it was going to be a good game for Springer.
