The Naranjito Predilectos starting pitcher learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 09/17/1913 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 13-14 months. The team will likely place Martín on the injured list today. In 12 starts this year, Martín has fashioned a 3-6 record and a 3.93 ERA. |
