Schaecter Blisters Coro Sunday, September 7th , 1913 It was a parade of hits for Lienhart Schaecter of the Maracaibo Independientes at Estadio de Coro. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Schaecter finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Independientes to a win, 13-11. "Schaecter was really good and we were really bad," groaned Bizantinos manager Pablo Moreno. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Lienhart Schaecter hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
