5-Hit Game for Liz Tuesday, August 19th , 1913 Francisco Liz got the glory and the headlines, but the Ljubljana Zmaji left with the win. The Salzburg first baseman easily handled the Zmaji pitching, going 5-for-6, but his Salzburg Wunderkinder came out on the short end of the 10-9 score. Liz told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win. "Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end." Francisco Liz doubled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Matej Pahor in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 11th.
