Amole Hurls Hotaru to 4-0 Shutout Win Monday, July 27th , 1914 Aomori pitcher Doc Amole put on a show and walked away with a shutout victory, 4-0, over the Sabae Megane-ten, throttling them on 5 hits. He cruised through the Megane-ten lineup, fanning 4 and walking 2 in a strong outing. "He was very efficient and he hit his spots," Hotaru manager Eliseo Apodaca said after the game.
