Manager Malcolm Gets Walking Papers in Matsuyama
Thursday, September 3rd , 1914
Robert Malcolm knew that firings are part of the job, he just didn't think it would happen to him.
"I was stunned. I didn't think it would happen," said the ousted Matsuyama Kawauso skipper. "I recently sat in a meeting with the owner and general manager and it seemed that my job was secure."
A new manager is expected to be named soon, but Matsuyama has kept a tight lid on specifying any names.
