At Dons Field, the Quebec City Dons and Halifax Batteries were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Halifax Batteries picked up a win at Dons Field, topping the Quebec City Dons, 5-2. On the mound for Halifax was left-hander Yanzhi Wang. He played a principal role in the triumph. The win makes Halifax 19-34.

The Batteries got a big at-bat from second baseman Julian Sutherland. For the game, Sutherland went 1 for 3 with a triple and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Halifax a 3-2 lead.

"I like to keep things lively in the clubhouse," said Sutherland. "Believe me, it's much easier after a win."
