Humberto Flores knocked in 3 runs to help Sault Ste. Marie beat Thessalon, 8-5. The Hormigueros, Puerto Rico native tallied 2 singles and 1 home run. Sault Ste. Marie sits in first place in the Ontario Baseball Association Ontario North at 32-26.

Justin Williams came through with a big-time hit for Sault Ste. Marie. The first baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We played hard and won," said Flores. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
