Trifluviens Win Again, Streak Now at 11
The Trois-Rivieres Trifluviens defeated the Levis Fourches, 9-2, in Ligue du Baseball du Quebec action at Ballpark of Trois-Rivieres. Trois-Rivieres pitcher Fermín Cruz had a standout performance. The winner was Cruz. He threw 8.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Jesús González. Now 66-51, the Trifluviens have won 11 games in a row.

The Fourches had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Trifluviens going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old shortstop José Coralejo came to the plate. Coralejo hit a 3-run home run on a 1-0 fastball from Levis hurler Jesús González. It was Coralejo's 7th home run of the year.

"We are some kind of hot right now," said Cruz.
