2-1 Win for Rincon in Extras
The Rincon Ingenieros picked up a win at Coliseo Hermógenes Cárdenas, knocking off the Corozal Mofongueros, 2-1. Starting pitcher Julián Loya was a big reason why. Sergio García picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-3. Aureliano Santa was tagged with the loss. Rincon, at 69-73, sits in third place in the Liga Hostos Oeste.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Jean Chenu in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Aureliano Santa to win it for Rincon and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"This wasn't a good win," said Chenu. "It was a great win."
