The Las Marias Citricos picked up a win at El Naranjal, knocking off the Aguas Buenas Mulos, 3-2. Starting pitcher Eduino Rizo was a big reason why. The Citricos sit in second place in the Liga Betances Cordillera Oeste with a record of 66-75.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Citricos had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when third baseman Alex Alcock hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Roan Smith and made the score 2-0, Citricos. Alcock went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Alcock told the Las Marias Times.
