Ciales Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Guaynabo left fielder Marco Fabián was sensational. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Ciales beat the Libertadores, 5-4. Ciales reliever Cristóbal Osorio picked up the win, upping his record to 6-10. Julio García took the loss. The Galanes improved their record to 58-88 with the win over Guaynabo.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the ninth when Gervasio Bernal hit a run-scoring double off fireballing right-hander Julio García to win the game for Ciales. The home crowd went wild.

Ciales manager Herodes Tavárez was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
