Martilleros designated hitter Félix Chavaña left his mark on his team's 6-5 win over the Arecibo Lobos. Chavaña, who is tied for 6th in the LB in doubles with 34, was 4-4 with a double and 3 singles. Vega Alta used a well-timed hit by Miguel Vázquez to capture the win. The second baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Martilleros ahead, 5-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Chavaña told the Vega Alta Observer.
