The fans at La Plaza de Cayey witnessed quite a game.

The Cayey Cornupetas beat the Guayama Hechiceros, 5-4, in 10 innings. Cayey pitcher and Bayamón, Puerto Rico, native Toribio Garza led the way. Cayey reliever Sarpedón Rodríguez picked up the win, upping his record to 9-6. Godofredo Ramírez absorbed the loss.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Cayey third baseman José Rocha, facing Cassidy Campbell, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Cornupetas the 5-4 win.

"Toribio's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said Cayey manager Tarquino Santa Cruz.

Cayey is now 80-67.
