Artilleros Win, Cruz has 4 hits

A 5-RBI performance from designated hitter José Cruz led the Maunabo Artilleros to a win over the Orocovis Caciques, 8-3. With the win, Maunabo has a record of 70-83. Orocovis falls to 64-87.
With Maunabo trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Cruz hit a fastball from Miguel Govea for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 10th triple of the season and put the Artilleros ahead, 5-3.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Cruz told the Maunabo Gazette. "It's as simple as that."
