Barceloneta starter Jesús Garcés pitched well against the San German Golondrinas at Recinto Municipal Lola Rodríguez de Tió. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-4, in 10 innings. Francisco Santos earned his 2nd save in 3 chances. The win elevated the Marineros to 101-52.

Barceloneta used the timely hitting of Natán Pulido to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Marineros on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Garcés.
