Fajardo Charts 4-2 Win Over Jayuya

Fans got some free baseball at Coliseo Álvaro Santana.
The Fajardo Insolentes took Gerjan Peelen's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Coliseo Álvaro Santana. The final score had Fajardo getting past the Cerros, 4-2, in 11 innings. Peelen over 6.2 innings allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 4. Abilio Rivera earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record is now 14-4.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Casiodoro Delgado? The 29-year old first baseman Delgado stroked a 2-run single in the top of the 11th inning to put Fajardo up, 4-2. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
"Our guys refused to lose," said Delgado.
