Romeros Beaten by Marcianos, 5-3

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Lajas Marcianos and Hormigueros Romeros.
The Lajas Marcianos locked up a win at Plaza Cósmica de Lajas, knocking off the Hormigueros Romeros, 5-3. On the mound for Lajas was right-hander Jorge López. He played a major role in the triumph. Don Forbes notched his 5th save of the season.
Aristóbulo Enríquez went 2 for 4 with 2 singles for Lajas. The 24-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Ricardo Elías. It was his 41st RBI of the season.
"I liked his command," said Lajas manager Luis Martínez. "Jorge was throwing strikes."
Lajas is now 66-89, while Hormigueros is 74-80.
