Polanco Goes Distance in Utuado Win
Two of the league's best teams met for a late-season clash.

In a well-pitched game between the Utuado Arribenos and the Fajardo Insolentes, pitcher Plácido Polanco was superb. The Utuado right-hander helped his team win, 2-1. The Arribenos bumped their record to 91-59 with this win.

Polanco earned the win to move to 21-10. In his 9-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 6 and walking 4. The right-hander allowed the Insolentes few scoring opportunities.

"Main thing is I want the team to win," Polanco told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
