The Yabucoa Dulceros and Juana Diaz Reyes delighted fans at Coliseo Adrián Burnías.

Juana Diaz pitcher Fintan Whelan had a large part in his team beating the Yabucoa Dulceros, 5-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The first-place Reyes improved to 94-59.

Juana Diaz catcher Taiaho Wangara helped the Reyes go up, 1-0, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Wangara hit a run-scoring single off Yabucoa pitcher Pedro Jácquez.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Juana Diaz manager Francisco Ramos. "Our pregame was pretty good."
