Extra-Inning Win by Pepinos Over Cornupetas

Tom Swyers led the charge as the San Sebastian Pepinos defeated the Cayey Cornupetas, 5-3, in 10 innings at La Plaza de Cayey. Swyers, who is tied for 10th in the LH in extra base hits with 53, hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. San Sebastian has run its win streak to 5 in a row.
Swyers had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 0-2 fastball from Sarpedón Rodríguez, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Pepinos a 5-3 lead. It was the 24th home run of the year for Swyers.
