The Luquillo Soles used an offensive barrage to beat the Orocovis Caciques, 11-2, at Estadio Pedro González. Jesús María Ibarra led the way, going 3-for-4 for Luquillo. The loss drops Orocovis to 17-15.

Víctor Manuel Cervantes tried to get his team back in the game. With Orocovis trailing 11-0 in the top of the 9th, Cervantes hit a 2-run double. But the Soles held on to get the win. "Cervantes had a good at-bat," said manager Jorge Vega. "We could have used a few more like it."
