The Las Marias Citricos faced a tough opponent in Camuy pitcher Urayoán Lares, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Estadio Víctor Nieves by a final score of 3-2. Lares went 9 innings and allowed 3 runs. The Citricos raised their record to 87-76.
Crisanto Chaidez made it 3-2, in favor of Las Marias when he delivered a 2-run single. It came with two out in the top of the ninth. The Citricos went on to win.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Chaidez said after the game.
