Coliseo Municipal de Gurabo was the site for Liga Hostos action featuring the Gurabo Tainos and Carolina Tumbabrazos.
The Gurabo Tainos went down to defeat to Alfonso López and his Carolina teammates. The final score was 4-0, in favor of the Tumbabrazos. Carolina bumps their record to 80-85 with the win.
The Tumbabrazos got a big at-bat from right fielder Luis Baca. For the game, Baca went 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. In the top of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 10th triple of the season gave Carolina a 1-0 lead.
