Not everyone stuck through the 67-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

The Comerio Guabaleros converted a terrific effort from starter Bradley Rose into a win over the Canovanas Chupacabras at Estadio Tomás Morel. The Guabaleros won the game by a final score of 5-2. Rose picked up the win for Comerio, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 18-16. Ildefonso Bolívar finished to wrap up his 16th save.

Luis Martínez helped out the Comerio cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the designated hitter was 1 for 4 with a double.

"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Rose.

With the win, the Guabaleros hiked their record to 82-80.
