The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Rincon fans at Coliseo Hermógenes Cárdenas.

The Rincon Ingenieros topped the San German Golondrinas, 5-3, in Liga Hostos action at Coliseo Hermógenes Cárdenas. The game was highlighted by the performance of Rincon pitcher Pascual García. With this game in the books, Rincon is 93-72, San German 89-78.

With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Renato Ezatégui had a game-changing hit. The Ingenieros pinch hitter slammed a run-scoring single off Roberto Hernández, making the score 5-3, Rincon.
