Mofongueros Handed 6-1 Loss by San Lorenzo
|
Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Leyendas beat the Mofongueros.
The San Lorenzo Leyendas got a stellar effort from pitcher Dalmacio Guerrero, helping San Lorenzo score a win over the visiting Corozal Mofongueros, 6-1. Guerrero got the win, improving to 15-22. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 1 run.
José Sarabia had a productive at-bat in the bottom of the first inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, the San Lorenzo designated hitter hit a 2-run single. It made the score 2-1, Leyendas, and led to the win.
"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Sarabia told the San Lorenzo Herald. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
San Lorenzo is now 64-99.
